Our Choices

Our Choices

We all have our choices, even if it is good or a bad one. But sometimes people chose the bad decisions because they do not know what will be the bad effects that may happen. They just knew what  the good returns are for them. If we chose to have the good decisions, it is hard but it is for the best. We don't have anything to hide we all have our choices.

Like Aeneas, he chose to escape instead of following Creusa's opinion. Aeneas escape Troy as the Greeks were attacking it. But Aeneas loses Creusa while there was disturbance. He protected his family and fled Troy to a safer place. Andromache pleaded Hector to fled and be safe, but Hector chose to battle the Greeks.

Hector chose his obligations and duties as a warrior over his family. He chose honor in serving his country. Unlike Aeneas, he didn't care for his family but he protected his countrymen. But that is not a good decision, the Trojans fell and Aeneas survived through a better choice than Hector.

A tough loss but a greater victory

A Tough Loss but A Greater Victory

Victory is probably one of the greatest moments a man can have. They celebrate it with their love ones and using the time to thank for all the glories they have. There are many heroes that have fallen through defeat and a tough loss. Many people start with small things and having a chance to be greater than that. They can have whatever they want, but still having problems that are not expected to happen.

The feeling that you are free from your problems also maybe the feeling that Aeneas had when he found Rome. Through countless battle he had, it made him stronger and more determined to step up his life. But that ended when the fall of Troy started. He loss many of his love ones and friends, he also lost his wife. Every victory comes with problems and loss.

In that moment, Aeneas didn't felt any reason why he needs to give up. He put his A- game on and started a new beginning for him, and for his fellow men. He didn't give up, instead, he made that moment an inspiration to move on and control his life. There is nothing that can ever stop him that time. As he found Rome, he found a new dynasty. He worked hard through a tough loss, and earned a greater victory.

The Fall of Troy

The Fall of Troy

During a cold night, as the Trojans celebrate their victory, there's a danger that awaits them. With their wooden horse that shows peace for both the Trojans and the Greeks. With a warm bed, the Trojans fell asleep without knowing that bad things are going to happen. A perfect timing and a great way to attack for the Greeks. The strongest and bravest Greek soldier was assigned for this dreadful attack. The Greek soldiers were calibrated with deadly weapons that are about to help them to end the Trojans existence.

The soldiers were like ants that are not noticed by the Trojans. They were fast and stealthy as they approach to the time where they need to begin the battle. Using their weapons and massive number, they slaughtered the Trojans. Some were left dead and some able to survived but kept as servants for the Greeks. As the Greeks celebrate their victory against the Trojans, Aeneas left Troy like a wind together with the other Trojans that escaped.

In this part of the story, I felt bad for him because I knew that it is hard for him to leave Troy. I changed my feeling when Aeneas found Rome. He found a new home that became a history. They build a new hope and a new future for them. They live as if they were just in Troy and having celebrations. That moment really changed my feeling because after a miserable fall, they found new light that will glow for a better future for them.
